The Basic Course in Medical Education (BCME) is a foundational Faculty Development Program conducted by the Regional Centre for Medical Education Technology (RCMET), Andhra Medical College, Visakhapatnam, in accordance with the guidelines of the National Medical Commission (NMC).
BCME is designed to equip medical faculty with essential competencies in teaching, assessment, and curriculum implementation, enabling them to effectively deliver Competency-Based Medical Education (CBME).
