Dr. P.V. Jagannadha Rao Memorial Oration
3rd Dr. P.V. Jagannadha Rao Memorial Oration in Pathology was conducted in Andhra Medical College on 14.12.2021 in Video Conference Hall, Panagal building. Dr. A. Bhagyalakshmi delivered the oration on the topic “Cancer Burden and Screening Modalities In Andhra Medical College/KGH“.
Dr. P.V. Sudhakar, Principal, Andhra Medical College presented the gold medal and the certificate as chief guest. Dr. P. Mythili, Superintendent KGH was the guest of honor. Dr. P. Padmavathi D/o Dr. P.V. Jagannadha Rao attended the program on behalf of the family. Large number of faculty and PGs have attended the meeting
Smt. I. Satyavathi Memorial Oration
Smt. I. Satyavathi Memorial Oration instituted by Dr. I Dinakar in memory of his late mother was delivered by Dr. Manas Kumar Panigrahi, Neurosurgeon, KIMS hospital Hyderabad. He was felicitated by Dr.P.V.Sudhakar, Principal, Andhra Medical College and Chief Guest. Guests of honour were Dr. I. Dinakar, and Dr. B. Subbarao. Dr. K. Satyavara Prasad, Prof & HOD, Neurosurgery presided over the function. Dr. M.V. Vijaya Sekhar has introduced the speaker. Dr. G. Butchi Raju, Dr. N. Subramanyam, Dr. K. Venkateswarulu, Dr. K. Vishnu Prasad, faculty, post graduates and students attended in large number. Dr. Manas Panigrahi spoke on the latest advances neurosurgery and his research on “Gliomas” (Brain Tumors).
15th Endowment lecture in Neurosciences
Dr. Sanjay Behari, Professor of Neurosurgery, SGPGI, Lucknow delivered the 15th Endowment lecture in Neurosciences. He spoke on “Neurosurgical Causes of Headache”. He presented many videos of surgeries performed in various conditions causing headache. Dr. P.V. Sudhakar, Principal, AMC was the chief guest. Dr. K. Venkateswarulu and Dr. P. Mythili were the guests of honor. Dr. K. Satyavara Prasad, Prof & HOD Neurosurgery presided over the function. Dr. G. Butchi raju, Prof & HOD Neurology introduced the oration. Dr. Bhavaraju Subbarao, Dr. M.V Vijaya Sekhar, Dr. S. Gopi faculty and students were participated in large number.
