National Girl Child Day 2025

January 24th is celebrated as the National Girl Child Day in India, to create public awareness about inequities that girls face in society. Also, the day promotes awareness about girl children’s rights and the importance of education, health and nutrition for them.

Adolescent Girl Child Day January 24 celebrated . Around 300 girls addressed by Dr.G Soumini , Professor OBGY , Chairperson Public Awareness Committee OGSV,Dr.Sharmila Associate Professor, Dr Shyamala,Himani,Assistant Professor , Postgraduates 4 unit KGH had given health education, medical advice on Nutrition, Menstrual hygiene, Cervical vaccine, Protective defences along with medicines distribution at MVD Primary High school Dandu bazar Visakhapatnam
