Celebration of 150 Years of Vande Mataram

Andhra Medical College, Visakhapatnam, proudly celebrated the 150th anniversary of the iconic national song Vande Mataram with great patriotic fervor and unity. The event was held under the guidance of Principal Dr. K.V.S.M. Sandhya Devi, along with the dedicated support of the faculty, staff, and students.
More than 800 members of the AMC fraternity gathered for the celebration, making it a truly memorable occasion. At 10:00 AM, the entire assembly came together to recall the historical importance and emotional power of Vande Mataram, which has inspired generations of Indians through its message of devotion to the motherland.
The gathering then sang the National Song in unison, filling the campus with a sense of pride, harmony, and national spirit. The chorus rendition reflected the timeless relevance of the song and its role in uniting the nation.
The event concluded with the resounding patriotic cheer:
“Jai Bharat Mata Ki Jai!”
