National Neurology Conference IANCON 2024
Novotel, Visakhapatnam
After the pre-conference workshop conducted on 16.10.24 and Continuing Medical Education on 17.10.24, the main conference sessions started on 18th October 24.
Today’s meeting started with the breakfast sessions held simultaneously in all six halls from 8:00am to 9:00am. Followed by Award paper sessions in which the residents and faculty of neurology presented their research work in various topics of neurology.
International guest faculty lecture 3 was delivered by Dr. Rajesh Nair (Canada) on the topic sudden unexplained death in epilepsy patients.
Presidential Oration was delivered by IAN president Dr. Debashish Chowdhury on the topic of migraine headache.
Dr. Baldev Singh Oration was given by Dr. Hannah Monyer from Germany spoke on the topic of Inhibitory Neurons Control on the Neuronal Networks.
Luncheon Symposium and Poster Presentations were held during the lunch break. Followed by symposium sessions and ask the expert sessions were organised simultaneously in six halls in the post lunch period. In the evening the IANCON meeting was ended with the interesting video sessions on common neurological issues like movement disorders, epilepsy, headache, cognitive neurology, Neuro ophthalmology and vertigo.
