RECRUITMENT FOR THE POSTS OF PROJECT STAFF ON CONTRACT BASIS
Applications are invited for “PHARMACIST” for the Surveillance of Antimicrobial consumption under AMR programme 2025-26 as per the MoU with NCDC, New Delhi.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Perform antibiotic consumption studies and prescription audits
- Data analysis and dissemination of antibiotic consumption reports and responding to specific requests concerning the database.
- Participate in the trainings and workshop conducted by NCDC
- Any other duties required under the programme as assigned by the HOD/AMR nodal officer
Terms and Conditions :
- The above post will be filled purely on a temporary basis, co-terminus with the project with the candidates having no right to claim for permanent employment.
- Interested candidates are directly submit BIO-DATA along with attested copies of 10th class certificate 2. Relevant Degree certificates 3. Relevant Experience certificates to this office, Principal, Andhra Medical College, Visakhapatnam, in sealed cover.
- Last date for submission of Bio data along with relevant documents on or before 20th May 2026.
- Interview dates will be displayed in the amc_edu.in.
- Late applications shall not be entertained and rejected straight away without any reasons communication and correspondence.
- Submission of wrong or false information during the process of selection shall disqualify the candidature at any stage.
- Mere participation in the interview does not guarantee selection of the candidate.
- All educational qualification certificates shall be from a recognized Board/University.
- If no suitable candidate is found for a project position, the Nodal Officer may, with the approval of the Head of the Institute and subsequent notification to the Council, downgrade the position with information to the Council.
- The fixed term engagement (s) i.e. initial as well as extended, shall automatically cease/conclude, if the same is not extended within the tenure. No retrospective extension of engagement (s) shall be permissible.
- Based on project requirements, the Nodal Officer may, with the approval of the Head of Institute, recruit specialized personnel with equivalent qualifications for a sanctioned position by adhering to relevant guidelines and informing the Council.
Note:
- Contract period of the manpower is to be renewed after completion of one year
- 5% increment will be applicable to the manpower recruited under AMR programme, after satisfactory performance of continuous service of 1 year
- Mandatory break in service of 1 to 2 days to be given after completion of one year of service before renewing the existing contract.
